"had a bad day again..."

Well the week started off pretty normal then just went downhill from there. Went to get the Christmas tree which was fun, except that we wanted the Christmas picture to be of the kids picking the tree out, little did we know that is not possible with a cranky 1 year old!

We just gave up on that picture idea, not worth ruining the experience.

Nenie had a great idea to get the kids in this sleigh down the road from her house...

Needless to say we abandoned that idea also. But all is not lost, you will be getting the finished product soon.

Then I woke up thursday morning to a screaming child, and had no idea what was wrong with her. Took her to the doctor and found out she had pink eye, nothing serious but she was MISERABLE today and i mean not happy at all. I feel so bad that i can't do anything. SHe is asleep now, maybe she and i can get some rest!

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving. We sure had lots to be thankful for. Wednesday night we went to New Orleans to Su Su and PawPaw's house, and stayed in the big house!!! It was so great to see them back in their house. We had a great supper with mom and dad and will. The next morning we went to Mawmaw's and had thanksgiving with Dad's family. It was just like old times, except they let us sit in the living room which was a first!!! i laughed until i almost chocked at Jeffery as usual. But all in all it was a great day.

We came home thursday night and went to visit nana and papa. Then we finally got home. I had to work black friday, which was fun. Then Harrison was in Jessica's wedding on saturday. It was so cute! he was so unsure about it. but once we got there he was fine.

After a little coaxing!

As I was headed to work at 4:00 this morning, I stopped in my tracks when i heard Issy on the monitor. Well, she quit crying just long enough for me to think she went back to sleep and to get to wal-mart and just to get a call that she was screaming!!! I didn't know what i was going to do because that stuff had to be out ASAP. Well ,as usual Nenie was able to bail me out! I think it was the first time she kept both of them at the same time. I think they did okay, of coarse she would never say if they were bad. After that the day was good, life is good.

We had a great weekend. The Mozingo family was down from North Carolina, so it was good to see them and visit. Harrison stayed at his nana and papa's last night and i picked him up this morning much to his dismay. Miss Isabella has been very fussy today, i think she is getting a cold. But other than that just a quiet day. I have to go in to work tonight for a bit. It is crazy around Christmas. I think i like my new job now that i have the schedule worked out.
We are getting so excited about the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas season. I think it is my favorite time of the year! We are already picking out Christmas presents, its never to early.

rainy weekend

the whole weekend was so rainy!!! it thundered one time and harrison said oh that one scared my little buddies. it was so cute. we didn't do much on saturday, we finally got a new microwave! i was so excited. no more heating milk on the stove, thank goodness thats over. it was a pretty quiet weekend. harrison went to the sanders house for a while on saturday, which is oh so exciting!

"the day"

it was an interesting day at the ladner house today. daddy's truck window got shot out with a rock so he had to take my car to work. isabella had a dr. appt. thank goodness we have nenie to help us! she took us to get the car then we went on to the doctor.
nana and papa are out of town for two weeks to the new england/canada area, so that means nenie got bumped to babysitter of harrison for isabella's eye appointment (everything was fine with her eyes thank God) he crys when we leave nenie's now, and i told him i used to do the same thing and now he always wants to hear about my grandma's house when i was little.
we got home just in time for her to take a nap and harrison and i to go on the "jumpie" the weather is still great. when she woke up we went to corner market to get a few things which is always eventful! anyway ,we made pizza tonight and daddy and harrison are having a guys night with a new superman movie... and mommy is relaxing!!! isabella is asleep needless to say, thank God she is such a good sleeper!!!

Su Su and Paw Paw came to visit on Saturday! the children had so much fun with them. they were so excited to see them, and so were we! i don't know who has more fun the kids or the grandparents, which is nice to be witness to. i am so thankful that harrison and isabella have grandparents and great grandparents that love them so much, actually our whole family loves them so much which is truly a gift from God. thanks for the LOVE!
Harrison talks about his "little buddies" more and more lately! it is so funny. the were jumping on the trampoline and he was afraid he would bounce them off earlier. they crop up in normal conversation all the time now. i have to fix them a plate along with his now, it is really getting out of control, but i guess as long as it stops before he turns at least 10 i think we are okay!
we went back to story time at the zoo today and isabella enjoyed it so much more than last time. the animal was a snake which was gross , but needless to say harrison was speechless. he was the first one in line to touch it! but the snake got too rowdy for anyone to touch. the weather was so awesome once again. it is such a joy to be able to experience these types of things with the children, just to see the look on their face! we also got to go to aubrey's softball game today. she did so good! harrison love sports so much. i know he will be just like his daddy. he loves his cousins so very much. that is all he talks about. he can't wait for the babies either, he wants us to have twins just like uncle jon and memo!

"the lightening storm"

wow! we just got our internet back up and going since last tuesday night! lightening struck our neighbors house and it knocked our cable out, but we were blessed that nothing caught on fire.



Wednesday we went to storytime at the library. it was so cute, they really make an effort to prepare for it and to make it fun for the kids. they did songs and stories and coloring and cookies! harrison was so into it! isabella liked it for a while, but it was naptime so she was sleepy. we met some new friends that were almost the same age as harrison and isabella which was neat.

Thursday we went to Nenie's to ride the golf cart because the weather is absolutely gorgeous!!!! the kids love it. harrison wants to live by the lake at our next house!

The Zoo!

the children and i went to the zoo for story time today and had a great time. it was our first time to go for story time and Harrison loved it! they have an animal to look at everytime and this time it was a macal. harrison was amazed, isabella on the other hand hated it! erverytime that bird would make a noise she would start to scream! but harrison never made a move, he was mesmorized. then we went around to the rest of the zoo. we met some new friends that we will meet back next week. we had so much fun, we had a great day! tonight daddy has class so we will go to aubrey's softball game!
